2021.12.01 14:36 strongdefense How will GME and Loopring educate the world about NFT?
To start with, I am going off the assumption that all of the evidence regarding a Gamestop/Loopring NFT marketplace is true.
Given that, this represents a dramatic change in how cryptos are currently used in the marketplace and will leave many non-techie folks in the dark initially. We like to dream about a blockchain stock market, as an example, but no one seems to address the significant education that must occur before people beyond us "apes" are willing or knowledgeable enough to jump in.
I am posting this to begin the dialog regarding the "best" way to get the word out. So what are everyone's ideas on how to best teach the rest of the world about the magic of DEX, NFT and our favorite company?

2021.12.01 14:36 dank_sad Thoughts on this opinion piece: How Liberals Can Be Happier
Here's an excerpt from it:
The general hypothesis presented by Mr. Jost and Ms. Napier carries enormous intuitive appeal. If your politics are about social justice, change and progress, then it stands to reason that you might feel unhappy with life as it is.What do you all think?
But for liberals who want progress and personal happiness, thankfully this isn’t the only explanation. In our research and in that of others, another theory has emerged: Human connection lends meaning, direction and a sense of solidarity to our lives. In short, it helps make us happier.
Arthur Brooks of Harvard, for example, told us: “A lot of our happiness is out of our control, based on genetics and circumstances. But some of it we can control. It requires we invest in four things each day.” Those four things, he said, are “faith, family, friends and work in which we earn our success and serve others.”
The liberal-conservative happiness gap, then, may not be primarily about political ideology but rather connections to our country’s three core institutions. Self-identified liberals are less likely than conservatives, on average, to be tied to family, faith and community.

2021.12.01 14:36 StillAssistance Any advice to give about running a two person team?
So I know a guy, I met him a few months ago in a discord known as the "Joey Drew Studios" discord, and we are both fans of Bendy and the ink machine, we are both aspiring game devs, and so we partnered up. Can anyone give any advice on running a two person team? He has no PC, so all he gives me is concept art and ideas, and I do everything else. Fortunately our first game is going to be INCREDIBLY small. I have no bank account to hire other people, and afaik, he doesn't either, which means we need to take our time in our endeavors.

2021.12.01 14:36 curious-coffee-cat Seeking any tips/trick/help with editing. Are there any web based editors anymore?
I've been feeling blue lately & I decided to use it as a drive to pick up my camera again. I'm finding that uploading & editing are my biggest hurdles at the moment though.
So I wanted to ask y'all since my Google searches are fruitless: are there any web based editors that can stack? I have no way to download any software to my work computer, but my lunch break is the best time I have to edit at the moment. I know of the simple editing capabilities in Google Photos, but nothing more than that. (Brightness, contrast, some filters, etc.) Every time I search online, I just get the usual list that requires downloads/admin privileges.
Any other tips on how y'all upload & edit would be greatly appreciated. I only have an iPhone, my work computer & an external hard drive at the moment so it's all felt very... disconnected. Example being: I take some pictures & think "this will turn out awesome!" Then they sit on the SD card for a month or so, then I finally remember I can use my lightning SD card reader & I upload them to Google Photos. Then I look at them at work because I hate being on my phone. Once I see them on the bigger monitor I think "wow, these suck."
So yeah, my TL;DR is kind of a two-for-one: are there any ways to edit with online programs & any tips for flow when you don't own an iPad or anything fancy to edit?

2021.12.01 14:36 scarescrow823 I can’t imagine the rage
I got in the car today and NPR was the last station I was listening to and today they were covering the Roe v. Wade hearing. I caught the last 30 or so minutes and am just truly dumbfounded. Dumbfounded why these old white men get to decide what you are allowed to do with your bodies and your lives. If I’m feeling this range of emotions, I can’t even begin to imagine how you feel. I know it means nothing in the grand scheme of things, but you all have my support in your choice to do what is best for you, your family and your life.

Hey everyone! As the title says, I’m a 24yo guy from Italy. I go to college and I’m an engineering student. My field doesn’t get a lot of mention here on reddit but I can guarantee you it’s pretty damn cool :). I work as a receptionist at a big resort as well, making me outgoing and veeeery social. Here’s a bit about me:
